Controller for Our Finance Department
We are now looking for a controller for our finance department! This is a role for you who are at the beginning of your career in controlling, or who currently works with accounting and wants to take the next step.
With us, you will work closely with the business, develop in the role, and be an important support in the organization's financial management.
Folktandvården Stockholm is one of Sweden's largest dental care companies. Our mission is to improve the population's oral and dental health. We do this by working preventively, with high quality of care and personal consideration. With us, you have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally – and as you grow, so does the public health of Stockholm. We call it dental care with a good purpose.
About the Position
As a controller, you will support the business with financial follow-up, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with managers in the organization and provide the basis for important decisions. The role is both operational and development-oriented, with good opportunities to influence and develop working methods and processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial data, key figures, and forecasts
- Follow up on costs and revenues and assist managers with financial reconciliations
- Maintain and develop financial follow-up models in Excel
- Participate in the budgeting process and support managers in planning and follow-up
- Contribute to the improvement of routines and processes within financial management
- Act service-oriented and proactively towards internal stakeholders
About the Team
You will be part of a finance function where a total of four people report directly to the CFO, of which this position is one. In addition, there is an accounting unit with eight employees. The work group is characterized by a friendly, efficient, and structured working method with good team spirit. The workplace has a strategically good location in Södermalm with proximity to both commuter trains and the subway. We offer the opportunity for hybrid work.
With us, you will also receive benefits that make a real difference – with access to a benefits portal with discounts in areas such as health, fitness, travel, and entertainment, subsidized medical care and dental care, a generous wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year, and secure conditions through collective agreements, occupational pensions, and the possibility of salary exchange.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or accounting
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Very good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and basic analytical tools). An Excel test is included in the recruitment process
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working as a controller or with operational accounting in a larger organization
- Experience with BI tools
Personal Attributes
We place great importance on your personal qualities. To thrive in the role, we see that you are:
- Analytical and have a holistic view
- Service-oriented and communicative, with the ability to explain numbers clearly, even in front of larger groups
- Curious and development-oriented
- Structured and meticulous
Employment
Welcome with your application by January 18, 2026. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply. Selection is ongoing, and the first step in the recruitment process is a personality test and a problem-solving test.
Before the interview, you need to be able to prove your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid work permit, or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement.
